The Downtown YMCA has been a staple in the Colorado Springs community for over 135 years. We offer something for everyone, from infants to seniors. Whether you are interested in learning how to swim or keeping up with your social life, the Downtown YMCA has it all. We invite you to become part of our YMCA community today!
We are actively seeking Ambassadors to volunteer their time to make our YMCA exceptional. Being a Y Ambassador is an opportunity to give back and help others. Ambassadors work to build relationships and communities within the Y. They also act as a liaison between the members and staff. Working as a volunteer has been shown to have therapeutic benefits, and you can get personal satisfaction and enrichment while supporting others and making a difference in the Y community. Share your skills, gain valuable volunteer experience, and expand your knowledge of the Y through work with administration, members, and friends.
If you would like to become a Y Ambassador, please contact Ariella Gonzales District Executive Director, at 719.329.7231 or [email protected].
Thank you to the USA Swimming Foundation for helping make our Safety Around Water lessons possible!
Check out our birthday parties that include pool activities, games and more!
