Thanks for making the 2009 YMCA Turkey Trot a huge success!
A big thanks to all participants, volunteers, and sponsors who helped make the 2009 Turkey Trot an overwhelming success. 2051 runners and walkers made this a record year. An event like this is not possible without the involvement of volunteers, staff, and families. Thanks for your tremendous support and help leading up to and on race day.
For over 12 years the Turkey Trot Run/Walk has helped to raise money to support the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region’s Annual Partners Campaign. These funds stay in the Briargate community and provide opportunities for lower income families to participate in programs and activities which help build strong kids, strong families and strong communities.

Start Times:
- 5K begins at 9am
- 1K Kids Fun Run begins at 8:15am (free)

Kids Fun Run:
- Free
- Children 12 years old and younger
- T-shirt not included
- Ribbons to all Kids Fun Run finishers
Awards:
- Immediately following the race
- Given to top 3 finishers in each division
- Results will be posted on www.onlineraceresults.com following the race.
Age Divisions for 5K:
0-8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,
40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55–59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & older
Packet Pick-up at the Briargate Family Center YMCA:
- Tuesday, Nov. 24 from 5–7pm
- Wednesday, Nov. 25 from 10am–7pm
- Thursday, Nov. 26 from 6–8:45am
- *All runners wanting to be timed must pick-up their timing chips the morning of the race in the small gym of the YMCA prior to the start.
