Computer Clubhouse

There are many other opportunities at the YMCA for teens The Computer Clubhouse, fitness, volunteer opportunities, and jobs that are fun and rewarding.

21st Century Grant Program

The 21st Century Grant is a cooperative agreement between Sierra High School and the Southeast YMCA to provide academic and enrichment opportunities for Sierra High School students and their siblings. The Southeast Y provides daily afterschool programs that include Fitness, Cooking, Environmental Club, Martial Arts, Photography, Photoshop, Video Editing and access to the Intel Computer Clubhouse. Students simply need to provide a photo ID and sign up for classes in advance. Students can sign up at the front desk or at Sierra HS during lunch on Monday or Wednesday in the cafeteria.

There are leadership opportunities available for service learning projects, mentoring and trips to leadership events in the Colorado Springs area for students who demonstrate leadership in the clubs or in the Intel Computer Clubhouse.

The Southeast YMCA in conjuction with the 21st Century Grant Program strive for a positive place for teens to engage in service learning and recreational activities, to be leaders of their community and to enhance their leadership skills. Call for more information or registration at 719.622.3559.
