FAMILY PROGRAMMING

Our family programming provides opportunities for families to learn, grow, and thrive together.

Opportunities for families will:

  • Deepen relationships within the family
  • Further work/life balance
  • Develop new skills & interests
  • Connect to community resources
  • Be inclusive and considerate of all families and their diverse needs
  • Create opportunities to get to know other families at their YMCA
  • Help families to develop the traits of a healthy family

Family programming opportunities include:

  • Outdoor Fun: hikes, nature walks, camping trips, etc.
  • Field Trips: sporting events, community attractions
  • YMCA Events
  • Community Service: partnering with other organizations to serve our community

Family Camp at Camp Shady Brook

September 21 - 23

Join us at Camp Shady Brook for a weekend of family fun! Try the ropes course, take aim on the target sports range, canoe, or fish. Whatever your desire, you can come on in, sit back, and enjoy a nice family trip together.

Youth Stewardship Day with RMFI at Garden of the Gods

Saturday, October 6 from 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.

This volunteering day with Rocky Mountain Field Institute will focus on trail improvement and restoration projects within Garden of the Gods Park
