What is the Tri-Lakes Health pavilion?
The Tri-Lakes Health Pavilion will deliver a new model of health care that focuses on wellness and prevention and a goal of helping people reach and maintain optimal health. The model includes utilization of evidence-based medicine and best practices, increasing access to multiple services at one location, including child care and a healthy café in an atrium that will unite the Y with the new health pavilion. The building project is set for completion by the end of the year.
The architectural rendering above depicts an expanded Tri-Lakes YMCA Healthy Living area scheduled for opening by the end of September. The expansion to the Healthy Living area will essentially double the amount of cardio equipment to include a new spinning (cycling) studio, a new small group personal training studio, an 1,100 square-foot multi purpose room and a larger stretching area.
Other innovations for the Tri-Lakes Y, to be completed by the end of the year, include an expanded Child Watch, community room and playground. The YMCA Welcome Desk will move into a shared atrium that will feature a healthy cafe, concierges and an interactive kiosk to explore services at the health pavilion. The Y's neighboring tenants in the health pavilion will include the following health providers.
